Objective:
To reduce the occurrence of Pilot errors by focusing on human factors in relation to how they affect the performance of Bridge Resource Management (BRM). 

Course Content:
Training will give the participants:

  • Increased knowledge, understanding and  focus on how human factors affect the working of a vessel’s collective operation.
  • The basis for developing and using BRM skills both in routine operations and in critical situations.

The course covers the competence requirements as outlined in the STCW convention, table A-II/2 and section B-VIII/2 part 3-1, as well as 46 CFR 10.205 and 10.209.  and IMO Regulation 960 (XXIII) Annex 1 par 5.3

Test:
No. Instructor carries out continuous evaluation and assessment. Feedback to individual companies is available on request

Certification:
SAMTRA Certificate.

Course is SAMSA accredited and TETA recognised. 
Complies with the STCW Code regulations AII/2 and B-VIII/2 as well as 46 CFR 10.205 and 10.209. and  IMO Regulation 960 (XXIII) Annex 1 par 5.3.
