RADAR navigation at Management Level

To make efficient and effective use of radar as a navigational aid in congested, confined waters, recognize potential threats and make valid navigational and collision avoidance decisions based on sound radar observation and plotting in compliance with the International Collision regulations.

To expose participants to the safe operation of a VWT Tug by increasing the Trainee Tug Masters knowledge of ship handling theory and the ability to safely manoeuvre a VWT tug during various port and offshore operations.
