Able Seafarer Engine
To train seafarers towards their SAMSA Able Seafarer Engine Certificate, using extensive simulator training and theory as set out by the SAMSA code.

Auxiliary Boiler Familiarisation


To understand and operate the various components and sub systems found in a ships steam system.

Engine Room Plant Familiarisation


To understand the various components of an engine room and appreciate safe working practises within an engineering environment on board a ship.

Engine Room Watchkeeping


To teach understanding of Watchkeeping procedures to recognise malfunctions and corrective actions as well as emergency procedures.

Engine Room Resource Management


To reduce the number of accidents due to human error by teaching effective communication skills, problem solving and decision making.

MARPOL

The object of this course is to train Marine Navigating & Engineering officers and ratings to comply with the MARPOL 73/78 regulations and to prevent pollution and damage to the environment.

A differentiated course utilizing the engine room simulator can be run specifically for engineers including additional engineering specific topics.
