SA Manning, Training and Certification Seminar

Admission level:
Shore based crewing personnel, training administrators and any staff who are involved with manning of vessels, or the training of seagoing personnel.

Objective:
To provide an in-depth understanding of the various International and Local requirements of Flag States, as far as training and manning are concerned.

1 Day

Course Content:

• The Major International Conventions & Codes applicable to SA Shipping
• MS Training & Certification regulations including Marine Notices, definitions, interpretation & application
• MS Safe Manning Regulations – definitions, interpretation & application.

Test:
No. Question/Answer session after each lecture.

Certification:
SAMTRA certificate of attendance.
