SHIP HANDLING
TARGET GROUP:
Masters, Deck Officers, Pilots, Tug Masters and Navy seagoing officers
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge of English (speak, read & write) including maritime terminology
Bridge Watchkeeping Certificate and Sea going experience
EXIT LEVEL:
Knowledge and understanding of the principles of ship handing in various environmental conditions.
ASSESSMENT:
Continuous practical assessment and evaluation
CERTIFICATE:
Certificate of attendance issued by SAMTRA
VALIDITY:
No expiry date
